Catriona Wallis

Catriona Wallis is a Mum, Teacher, Entrepreneur and Huffington Post Blogger.

Born in Sydney, Australia, she had a career in Australia in TV Journalism and Business Development, before moving to Italy to work as a Teacher and Translator while starting a family.  

She was first inspired by the educational potential of the touch screen when she had 2 toddlers and watched the huge impact the newly launched iPad had on them. She developed her first educational kids game with a freelance team in 2013 which won seed funding and an invitation to attend a 3 month accelerator program in Tallinn, Estonia. 

In 2014, Catriona founded Colto srl, an innovative startup based in Milan, Italy, developing imaginative and educational mobile play experiences for kids around the world based on original and branded properties. 

Colto has 6 games on the App Store, 2 of which are also on Google Play.

Colto has recently started working in partnerships with the global kids brand Nickelodeon and the no. 1 kids magazine publisher in the US, Highlights for Children.
