Carolina Maertens

Carolina's professional path took her from fashion wholesale for a well known American brand all the way to her current passion: eCommerce Planning and Buying. After numerous years of working as an eCommerce Assistant/Junior buyer, first for a luxury multi-brand eCommerce and thereafter for an important Italian luxury brand, she was recruited by a large department store to set up the strategy and head all of the Women's fashion planning and buying for their eCommerce. Currently she lives in Switzerland and continues working for this department store now as Online Merchandise Manager.
In early 2015, she was also appointed to represent the department store she works for at the International Association of Department Stores (IADS). During the duration of these 3 months, she had to prepare and present in front of numerous worldwide retail CEOs a strategy on the future of department stores.
