Developing the dialogue on digitaltransformation
Digital transformation raises questions and concerns for the public, which need to be taken seriously. The Digital Day will demonstrate the opportunities digitalisation offers for every individual, as well as the challenges that need to be overcome. President ofthe Swiss Confederation Alain Berset will assume the patronage. He comments that, ‘Switzerland is ideally positioned to take advantage of the benefits of the digital change. What is needed is a broad discussion on how politics can support this change and cushion the negative consequences. The Digital Day provides an ideal platform for this’. Also Federal Councillor Johann Schneider-Ammann will again take part in the Digital Day 2018.SBB has also confirmed its support for the Digital Day. In 2018, Zurich, Geneva and Lugano main stations, will serve again as hubs for the Digital Day. digitalswitzerland looks forward to teaming up with last year’s digital partners as well as new companies and organisations to make the second Digital Day an eventful day across Switzerland.
