Hermann Lion is the CEO of Jacob Rohner AG since January 2019. He occupied the function of COO since January 2016 and successfully managed the turn-around of this Swiss iconic and family owned brand. During his time at Jacob Rohner AG he shaped the digital strategy of the company, as well the modernisation of the logistics systems, allowing the company to ship today 60’000 shipments within 24/48h to Europe and Switzerland.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) in economics and successfully submitted his PhD in October 2018 (under examination) in environmental economics specialising in sustainability assessments at the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne Australia. The results of his thesis were published in internationally recognised academic journals.
