About

Prof. Dr. Reinhard Riedl studied engineering at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz and holds a PhD in mathematics from the University of Zürich. After holding deputy professorships for High-Performance Computing (Rostock University) in addition to Communication and Distributed Systems (University of Zürich) he took over a research professorship for e-Government at the Bern University of Applied Science (BUAS). He has been the Research Director of the Business School and has recently been appointed the Head of the BFH Centre for the Digital Society. The Centre brings together researchers from various disciplines such as social sciences, engineering, humanities and the arts. Specialists from the fields of politics and law, urban development, social work and health, work together on transdisciplinary research fields.
