Isabelle Ohnemus

After studying Economics at university, Isabelle’s career started in investment banking; working as a broker for over ten years in a well-known global investment bank in stocks and derivatives. 

Her programming skills and love for fashion fuelled her interest in the Fashion and Technology industry, so she decided to turn this passion into something concrete. 

Isabelle began by organising private sales at home for her girlfriends who wanted to easily access the world of fashion. The sales included new and groundbreaking designers from Italy, Denmark and France who had no physical stores in Zurich. Isabelle’s own place became their exclusive store and in this alternative environment she realised the extent of the inconsistency in sizing and the power of data.

Four years ago she founded EyeFitU - the platform that provides personal size recommendations for consumers from major global brands, through its patented Sizing Engine.

Isabelle is a frequent attendee and speaker at international fashion retail and tech events. This year she was on the panel at ‘She Started It’ in Zurich and at NOAH17 Berlin after winning a place in the Top 3 at the Startup Competition at NOAH16. She held a panel on the Retail Revolution at The Global Female Leaders in Berlin; spoke about digitalisation at two NetComm events in Lugano and Zürich; presented at a FashTech event in Lugano as well as Fashinvest at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.

Isabelle is fluent in six languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian & Japanese.
