The start-up Manifesto

25 January 2019

Turning Switzerland into a start-up nation

Originated by the Swiss Start Up Network, Le Réseau and now supported by Digital Switzerland, the Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation, SEF4KMU and NetComm Suisse, the Manifesto is a set of ten proposals that would support Swiss start ups, and above all, encourage them to stay Swiss (and not seek easier business environments elsewhere).

Asked why NetComm Suisse was supporting the Manifesto, President Carlo Terreni said, "We have accepted the Manifesto with great enthusiasm. Already the Canton Ticino has done a lot to support start-ups, and now with the new fiscal reforms, its is encouraging investment in this area. However we feel there are still opportunities to improve and the proposals made by the Manifesto, such as establish a start-up status in our economic policy and stimulate the creation of a fund of venture capital funds are ideas we think beneficial both to start ups, but also Switzerland as a whole."

The full version of the Manifesto can be viewed here, where you also have the chance to sign it and show your support too.
