Bringing together the best young minds and setting them the task of redesigning La Martina’s omnichannel experience.
Universities are hotbeds of bright ideas, so why not gather those into a single space and bring in the powerful machinery of business that can bring the best of those ideas to fruition? This was the concept behind the Digital Creativity Challenge, sponsored by Kilpatrick and in partnership with La Martina, Giglio Group, Dagorà, Global Shapers Community and Lablaco in collaboration with the Agire Foundation. The event was held on April 4th and 5th in Lugano.
The aim of the Digital Creativity Challenge was simple: to set students from participating universities (USI, SUPSI, University of Lucerne, SDA Bocconi, Insubria University) the challenge of creating the perfect brand experience, featuring both online and offline engagement, for polo wear brand La Martina. Groups of students got together to generate creative ideas and formulate a proposal for this real-life scenario. They were provided with modern office space and all the materials they needed.
On the final afternoon, each group presented their concept in a snappy 7-minute pitch to a jury composed of experts from Agire Foundation, La Martina, university leaders and external investors. Creative ideas and concepts appeared in a range of solutions – apps, webpages, newsletters, CRM – however the winners, "La Martina 4 U" from USI announced by Enrico Roselli from La Martina, were awarded for their creativity combined with innovative digital technologies.
Congratulations to everybody who took part and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
