In 2018, Netcomm Suisse is introducing a new format of advisory panels, small come-together of industry experts who are discussing a current topic related to eCommerce and Digital Business. This new series is kicking off with the B2B eCommerce Forum, organised by Netcomm Suisse in Cooperation with Caterpillar, commercetools and Google
According to Statista estimates, global B2B sales via eCommerce have accumulated to $7.7 trillion in 2017. In the US alone, Forrester forecasts an increase from $890 billion in 2017 to $1.2 trillion in 2021, which relates to a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 7.4%. Forrester also estimated that in 2015 74% of B2B buyers were using the web for research for over half of their purchases and that 30% completed at least half of their purchases online. With no doubt, there is great potential for companies in the field of B2B to boost their sales by opening an eCommerce platform.
Netcomm Suisse has decided to organise this advisory panel with the goal to share direct experiences from real B2B initiatives and to develop best practice.
The agenda includes several case studies of industrial companies that have started to explore their eCommerce potential. We only invite a limited number of attendees as we want to ensure an interactive setup where all participants feel comfortable to share their experiences and knowledge.
